How Does Science Explain Beer Goggles?

Posted on Dec 28, 2016 by in Blog | 0 comments

Beer Goggles. It’s the term scientists use — yes, scientists. Look it up. — to describe a drunk person’s behavior; a drunk person who has sex with someone that they would likely find less attractive if they were sober.

The question that interests science is why? Why do drunk people choose to have sex with someone they don’t find sexually attractive?

Well, there are several theories.

  • Alcohol lowers inhibitions.
  • Alcohol suppresses decision making skills.
  • Alcohol makes us horny.
  • Alcohol somehow interferes with vision and how we “see” the world.
  • One new study from a British University suggests that alcohol interferes with a person’s restraint ability.

What’s the real answer? Is it all of the above? None of the above? Well, on a series for Playboy TV, factbox.tv’s creator revealed the answer.
