Trump On Russia Allegations And Nunes Memo: ‘If They Bring A Knife, I Bring A Nuclear Bomb’
Donald Trump’s demand that the Devin Nunes memo be released to the public is a public relations strategy that goes back nearly 50 years. You see, Trump has a long history of attacking those who discover his malfeasance. It began in the 70s when Trump and his father are accused by the Justice Department of discriminating against blacks in their housing projects. Rather than dispute the charges, Trump filed a counter suit of 100 million dollars for defamation against the Department of Justice.
The counter suit was the brainchild of Trump’s lawyer, Roy Cohn, who the New York newspapers called the toughest, meanest, nastiest, most vile lawyer in America. Cohn was also Joe McCarthy’s lawyer during the House UnAmerican Activities Committee hearings, in which the United States congress hunted for communists among the entertainment communities.
